What is Mystery?

You’ve studied the Bible for some time now.

What, if anything, remains a mystery to you?

Prophecies? Most likely.
Secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven? Definitely. Four beasts, 24 elders, mansions, ...
Angels and their spiritual realm? Absolutely. How they travel and reveal messages!
This planet covered with water and without form before plants and animals? Yes.
How the mist rose out of the Earth? For sure. YHWH/Jehovah’s perfect science!

Patterns in nature? Yes. YHWH/Jehovah’s perfect math!

Secret of life within yourself? Maybe we’ll ask that question later.
How to control your tongue? No doubt. Come on. Just read James 3.
Still need to find peace within yourself? Maybe so.
Appreciating the present moment? It simply takes focus.
Maintaining gratitude? What's required is a thankful attitude.
Could we go on and on? Yes.
Because we do not know it all.
Thank goodness. Then we’ll always learn.
There is one mystery that is more important than all the others.
And knowing it adds a critical spiritual nugget to your repertoire of knowledge.
As written…and read it slowly, absorbing every word.
For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh; That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (Interlinear, Colossians 2:1-2)
What is the mystery?
For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles — if indeed you have heard of the stewardship of God’s grace which was given to me for you; that by revelation there was made known to me the mystery, as I wrote before in brief. By referring to this, when you read you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit; to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel, of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of God’s grace which was given to me according to the working of His power. (NASB, Ephesians 3:1-7)
Masters, grant to your slaves justice and fairness, knowing that you too have a Master in heaven. Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving; praying at the same time for us as well, that God will open up to us a door for the word, so that we may speak forth the mystery of Christ, for which I have also been imprisoned; that I may make it clear in the way I ought to speak. (Colossians 4:1-3)
Paul told us: Of this church I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, so that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God, that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints, to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:25-26)
Christ in us. What does that mean?
Read Colossians 3:1-17. Slowly.
Let everything you do be done in the name of Jesus Christ.
You are established and built up in Jesus Christ. He is incomparable to any other.
YHWH/Jehovah truly loved the world that He created, so much that He sent his only begotten Son Jesus Christ for our salvation. Jesus was a huge mystery to many people, because he was not manifested in old times.
Jesus’ glory was manifested in Cana of Galilee. (John 2:11)
He was manifested to his disciples. (John 21:1, 14)
And as our King, Jesus was manifested to us...
Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past, but now is manifested, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, has been made known to all the nations, leading to obedience of faith; to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be the glory forever. Amen. (Romans 16:25-27)
Let Jesus Christ be your peace. Your joy. Your Rock.
Let Jesus be your light to walk toward.
