The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is a power given from God to mankind to understand the scriptures. The Holy Spirit is not an individual, but rather a gift or comforter given by Jesus Christ through His Father, the Almighty God to help us to understand the meaning of His word. The Holy Spirit is offered to any individual who desires to be a footstep follower of Christ. Many diversities of gifts are available through the Holy Spirit. It is important for an individual to ask for help of the Holy Spirit from God, through His Son Jesus in prayer. It is poured out at the request through His Son.

While under the law, they didn’t need the Holy Spirit because they had the Mosaic Law to guide them, they had the law to follow. It governed them. Now we are governed by the Spirit and led by the Spirit.
