LITTLE KNOWN FACTS OF THE BIBLE

THE TRINITY: FACT OR FICTION?
1plus.jpgAlthough the concept of the Father and the Son may seem like an incredibly simple one to understand, numerous religions teach the doctrine of the Trinity--or a three-in-one Godhead. Because of that commonly held belief, many people do not truly recognize who Almighty God and Jesus Christ are, or know about the unique relationship they share together. To much of the world, the mystery of the Father and the Son is a LITTLE KNOWN FACT OF THE BIBLE.

This study covers three topics, including the duty of man and how to study and why. It is important for us to seek the knowledge of God, and not our own personal interpretation. Solomon states in Ecclesiastes that the whole duty of man is to study God's words. God gives us direction on how we should study the Bible, each person researching and proving the scriptures to himself. He instructs us to build fact upon fact; for example this is why we research what Paul, Moses, and Isaiah have to say on a particular topic. We study God's words for evidence, correction, and instruction in righteousness so that we can partake in a perfect kingdom to come.

Why Do I Study?

2 Timothy 3:16-17  All scripture is given by God, therefore, can be proven and trusted. The scriptures can be used for correction and instruction in righteousness.

Proverbs 4:5-7, 13, 20-22  Obtaining wisdom and understanding from God's words will direct us through our lives in this world, and to eternal life in the world to come.

How Do I Study?

Isaiah 28:9-10  God will give knowledge and understanding to those seeking answers. It is important to study the Bible by subject, building fact upon fact. There are no contradictions in the Bible.

2 Timothy 2:15-16  Research the scriptures of the Bible to prove what the true ministers of the Bible teach.

The Whole Duty of Man

2 Peter 1:20-21 The scriptures are not meant to be privately interpreted. Holy men of God were moved by the Holy Spirit to record the scriptures for our learning.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 The whole duty of man is to revere God and learn and follow His commandments.
