The Holy Spirit is a power given from God to mankind to understand the scriptures. The Holy Spirit is not an individual, but rather a gift or comforter given by Jesus Christ through His Father, the Almighty God to help us to understand the meaning of His word. The Holy Spirit is offered to any individual who desires to be a footstep follower of Christ. Many diversities of gifts are available through the Holy Spirit. It is important for an individual to ask for help of the Holy Spirit from God. It is poured out at the request through His Son.

The Holy Spirit

John 14:15-17, 26 The Holy Spirit is referred to as the comforter because it will teach us all things and help bring things into our remembrance. Christ knew that the apostles and disciples would need this extra help after he returned to heaven.

Acts 2:16-18 After Christ was resurrected, the spirit was poured upon all flesh to prophesy.

1 Corinthians 2:12-13 The Holy Spirit helps us to understand the spiritual things that are freely given to us of God.

Proverbs 1:23 Those individuals who change at God's reproof (correction), will get the help of His spirit and understanding of His words.

;-) The scriptures speak for themselves on the topic of the Holy Spirit..and Jeaus refers over and over to Him as HE ..think about this...where is your spirit/in you..the spirit of God almighty is the Holy Spirit..Hes part of God like Jesus is ..and now he lives in me..why does everybody have to take something and complicate it..as the gospel..does it make them feel more secure..Jesus did that for me and continues to daily it daily through his grace and mercy by the precious Holy Spirit of JAHOVAH GOD..and i love them all and how they are working for my good, and salvation..I love my father and thats what i call him and he likes it ..ask him! :P
