Everyone Has A Situation

Everyone has a situation.
You, me, even the neighbor next door.

Do you fight it and struggle?
Or, do you use it to your own advantage?
Cant Stop Waves

If we ask ourselves how we can use our situation to our own advantage, we can benefit from it.

For example…
We can learn, become stronger, be more grounded inside, appreciate life’s fullness, and so on.

In our labor and toil, when we fight against our situation, we can become weary and sin.

But no matter how difficult the situation, Jesus Christ invites us to come to him.

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
Come Unto Me

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Matthew 28:18

It is on Jesus Christ that our faith must rest.

He is our Judge. Have faith in him.
Feed Your Faith

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

Jesus gives us rest from enduring the burden of sin and from weariness.

He consoles us with his teaching and examples.
Be Careful How You Live

From Jesus, we learn faith, love, forgiveness, trust, rest, and more.

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4

Take his yoke on and live in close companionship with him. By doing so, we will not hunger or thirst.
Instead, we:

- Cease from doing the meaningless.
- Have comfort and assurance of his promise.
- Find a breather from the day-to-day toil.
- Instill calmness, which pervades our soul.

Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God. 2 Corinthians 7:1

Jesus not only pardons our sin. He also requires us to submit ourselves to his authority.

So make good use of your situation, because you might:
- Learn from it and change yourself to be more spiritually accepted by Jesus Christ.
- Learn how to open up and talk to others who need your input.
- Become an example for people who are dealing with similar situations.
- Any possible combination of other positive things!

If you need help with your situation, ask! The chances are good that someone else can help.

Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching. 1 Timothy 5:17
Take A Step Back
