Does God Have a name?

Did you know that God has a name other than "God", "Lord", "Father", "Almighty" or "I Am"? Jesus Christ declared God's name to his disciples. "And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them" (John 17:26). King Solomon mentioned it in a Proverb by asking, "what is his name and what is his Son's name, if you can tell?" See Proverbs 30:4. God's name frequently occurs in the Hebrew Bible as what is called the Tetragrammaton, the letters YHWH, appearing some 6,823 times, according to the Jewish Encyclopedia. The exact pronunciation of the Tetragrammaton has been debated by scholars. The actual sounding of YHWH might have been lost after the Jewish people stopped saying God's name out loud, as described in Exodus 20:7, "Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God (YHWH) in vain". According to the Encyclopedia Americana, because the form of the letter "J" was not known in any alphabet until the 14th century, "I" was used in its place. However, over time the adopted use and pronunciation of God's name in the Greek translation of the Holy Bible, became and is Jehovah. Why then is the true name of God so important to know? Joel 2:32 explains that, "all who call upon the name of the LORD will be saved". Jesus Christ, when explaining to his disciples on how to pray, begins the prayer by saying, "Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name" (Matthew 6:9 KJV). If God's name were, Father, Lord, Almighty, or I Am, why would Jesus Christ ask for those titles to be 'Hallowed'? He doesn't. He asks for the name of God to be honored.

Exodus 6:2,3 God's name is revealed to Moses as Jehovah (YHWH).

John 17:6, 25-26 Jesus, again, declares the name of God.

1 Corinthians 8:5-6 Men have created names of other God's, but there is only one true God who has a Son by the name of Jesus Christ.

Psalm 83:18 Eventually, all men will know the one true God.

Psalm 79:6 It is dangerous not to call upon the name of the Almighty God, Jehovah.

The Beast is a government, not the devil. This is clearly illustrated by reading Revelation 13:4. The dragon gives power to the beast. The Beast is worshiped and the dragon is also worshiped - two separate entities.

It is not possible to say, with absolute assurance, what the "mark" of The Beast will be. Using speculation, and research about human identification options, the mark of The Beast could be an electronic microchip implanted in the human body.

Luke 17:12-18 just one more scripture, that if you can see shows God in the person of Jesus,because those other lepers could just as well been thanking God on there way...the pharasees studied the scriptures,but Jesus still called them blind..look at how this fellow fell down at Jesus feet and worshiped him..Does that also offend you..Because Jahovah God said that he only was to be worshiped... :sigh:

yet he wasnt rebuked for falling on his face before The Lord Jesus Christ.or do you all have a bible like the wittnesses that minimizes the diety of Jesus too?If so then the scriptures you released at me can be useful to you all and the Father will remove yet another layer of scales from your eyes..you see that you can study error(witness doctrine)and the yeast of it get into your spirit and make you worse off than you were before you studied it..ask him,and receive..that your joy may be full,other wise it never will be, as the false will be in the way and in the end only cause distruction... and you really dont want to miss your visitation,beca use there is an end to the false and the Lord will bring it swiftly because he desires that you have knowledge of the TRUTH and if his children are being deceived,they will be adjusted by the Spirits fire ,in his love,so they may be found lacking nothing..we cant come into the fullness of God if we are carrying garbage in our containers..OH>>WOW and how about colossians 2:9..ALL THE FULLNESS OF DEITY IN BODILY FORM,talking about Jesus...pretty clear..and how about this "in the NAME of the Father,And of the Son and the Holy Ghost"SINGULAR..Now what name was everybody being baptized in after that point..? The Father wont give you a Snake,HE is faithful to complete..if we are yeilded its easier than the stone falling on us(Matthew21:44)(the whole chapter is excellent),just to fall on the stone(matthew,w ho is our glorious Lord Jesus..The Rock of our salvation!!!!

Jesus is the "Word Made Fleash"and was sent to the world as"Immanuel",GoD with us..matthew 1:23.And he shall be called..Isaiah9:6 and how about matthew 1:21.The Father sent Jesus to reconcile man to himself,not through a religious system,but by faith through Grace..not law..because he desired relationship with man kind that they would be his children in the earth..you must receive the kingdom as a child..are we willing to let our defences down and allow the Father to bring forth the child in us to express our delight in Abba? only he can do that by his Spirit"Holy Spirit"Jesus came to make a way home to our father,what child calls there father by there name..he makes the heart tender to cry Abba..Why go back...and how about Psalm138:2..i beleive that is prophetic also because the word wraped in flesh was named Jesus.King james version,"that God exalted his Word above his name"Jesus,the word made flesh.GOD is not religious and religion will not bring the children home .it will kill them..and all who want to be free from religion will be..its a choice..and in his mercy and with his Love he will remove the root..FEAR..religion is safe..in a box..the spirit of liberty brings life and removes walls. What does it look like when the walls are comming down?why do you judge? are you God? are you afraid? is the little one inside?the child wants to be free and Jesus said let the children come...its about restoring inocense and intimacy not who knows the most scriptures and can prove they are right and everybody else is wrong.God hates heresy,he told me so.Some things we are to keep in our heart and not throw them around to cause division..we should be praying instead of using these things to puff ourselves up. knowledge puffeth up 1corin.8:1.The FatherS desire is that we not miss our visitation,by being as the scribes.. and pharisees.Religion wont stand in his kingdom,so we need to look at the kingdom that is being established around us personally..is it his? or our own......? :sigh:

And dont pick the version of the bible apart..it wont change the heart,the action will only prove to be a mirror... :sigh:
